2025/2026 Decathlon: Event Summary: Soccer

RULES: SOCCER

Q1 English Premier League The EPL is comprised of 20 teams; these teams have been seeded and you must select five teams totaling no more than 30 seed points. The EPL season is a home-and-home round robin; each team will play 38 games. There are no playoffs altho 4-6 teams will receive berths in the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League at the conclusion of the season. Furthermore, 3 teams will be relegated to the EFL Championship. Your five teams will earn points as follows: ...3 points for every EPL* win ...1 point for every EPL* draw ..20 point bonus for the champion ..12 point bonus for a group stage berth** in the 2027 UEFA Champions League ...8 point bonus for a group stage berth** in the 2027 Europa League ..10 point penalty for any team that is relegated * During the EPL season, teams will play friendlies and in tournaments; points are not awarded for those wins/draws ** Points are only awarded for a group stage berth in either the UCL or UEL (a qualifying round berth earns no points) Picks are not due until after each team plays two games.
