The top ~50 teams have been tiered.

Select eight teams (2 from Tier1 and 3 each from Tier2 and Tier3).

Your eight teams will earn points as follows:
...7 pts for each win
..15 pts for a conference title game win*
..10 pts for a bowl berth**
..20 pts for a playoff berth**
..15 pts for a bowl or playoff semifinal win
..25 pts for an NCAA Title

* Independents cannot claim this bonus
** A team can earn a bowl bonus or a playoff bonus, but not both.

There are a few more NCAA football teams out there. If you wish to select a team which we didn't load, just email sportsdecathlon@yahoo.com and we'll get it loaded into Tier3.

Picks lock Thu 8/31 at 5p Pacific

2023/24 Bowls and Playoffs

As usual, we pick against the spread. This year, we are breaking the games up into 4 groups:
* Group 1 - 17 Bowls from Dec 16 thru Dec 23. Pick any 6, 10 pts each for beating the spread
* Group 2 - 18 Bowls from Dec 26 thru Jan 2. Pick any 6, 10 pts each
* Group 3 - The 4 major Bowls excluding the CFP Playoff games. Pick all 4, 12 pts each
* Group 4 - CFP playoffs (semifinals and championship). Pick all 3, 15/20 pts each

In Groups 1 and 2, you may choose any 6 winners. You can even pick both sides of a matchup if you'd like to lock in a win a loss. In Groups 3 and 4, you must choose a winner for each game - ignore seeds; they only exist to ensure that you pick one team from each game. Your regular season picks will continue to earn bonuses for winning bowl games outright.

Group 1 is open now. Groups 2, 3 and 4 will open about a week before their first games. Each group will lock just before its first game. We will send out reminders when groups open or are close to locking. Once a group locks, you will not be able to pick (even future games) without a penalty.

Final Note: If a game is cancelled for any reason, picks for both teams will earn 0 points. If a game is rescheduled, Decathlon Management will make an executive decision on how to proceed based primarily on how much time there is left to re-pick.
